Since posting my friends observations about women in his country earlier today, I´ve been trying to watch for things here because many of his observations are perfect for Peru as well. Usually I don´t even notice these things because it´s normal. It´s only in Portland where women drive buses and taxis that you notice something is wrong. So today I was trying to be conscious of the difference and so when I went to the bank this afternoon to change some money I noticed that a women had brought her child to work with her. She was sitting behind her desk at the bank in front of her computer with her child in her lap. That´s just normal. Nobody cares if you take your children to work with you. You can see things like that all the time but don´t even notice it because it´s normal.
I try not to get too emotional on this blog but the truth is that sometimes I wake up at night just feeling a sense of relief that I´m now living in a free country, a normal country. No forced vaccinations, no patriot acts and prison camps, no political correctness, no women driving buses. You can buy beef in the supermarket anytime and know the farmers aren´t feeding cows to cows or putting human genes into irradiated fruit. Now that I am in Peru where I know I can stay those good feelings have doubled because I know that this freedom is mine for as long as I want it. The women who work at convenience stores or supermarket look like women who work in offices in the United States and dress nice just to walk on the street. I love my country but the freedoms have been consciously removed by leaders who hate our country. Everything here is so normal.

Just curious why you are against women driving buses? You mention you like the freeness of Peru but then you mention something you like that isn’t exactly about equality and freedom… atleast for women. Can you explain your view?
